NoPixel V inspired fishing for FiveM. Walk up to Bud Baitsworth at the bait shop and pick Open Shop, Sell Fish or Leaderboard. Buy a rod and some bait, head to the water and use the rod: it comes out in your hands. Press R to put bait on, hold right mouse to aim at the water and click to cast. Watch the float, strike when it is pulled under, then hold Space to reel your fish in, but ease off when it runs or the line snaps. Every fish has its own kind and weight, comes up out of the water on the line and into your hand, and goes into your pockets weighing what it weighs. Sell it to Bud, climb the leaderboard and win the weekly competition. Give your players a relaxing, rewarding job they will keep coming back to.

Features

• Design — Clean NoPixel V style screens: Bud's talk screen, the shop, the sell screen, the leaderboard, the bait picker and the key hints, all in the same style as the rest of our interface.
• Bud Baitsworth — Talk to him at the bait shop: the camera turns over your shoulder, his name shows in the corner and Open Shop, Sell Fish and Leaderboard sit on the right. Change his name, look, greeting and opening hours in the config.
• Bait Shop — Rods, bait and a fish bucket, with a shopping cart, quantity buttons, Shift to add ten, a tax line and Cash or Card. With fs-shops 1.0.5 or newer on your server it opens the fs-shops screen with Gift Cards too. Without it, it opens our own copy of the same screen, so it works on any server.
• A Real Rod In Your Hands — The rod sits in your right fist with your left hand on the reel, the way a spinning rod is really held. Everyone nearby sees it.
• Bait Picker — Press R and pick from the bait you carry. River Worms work best in lakes and rivers, Saltwater Chum in the sea. Put the rod away and any unused bait comes back.
• Aim & Cast — Hold right mouse and a ring shows where you will cast. It turns red on land, under a pier or too far, so you only cast into open water. Click to cast.
• Our Own Animations — Custom animations made for this script: the cast over the shoulder, the strike, fighting the fish, turning the reel and taking the fish off the line.
• Line, Float & Splashes — A thin fishing line from the rod's tip to the water, a red and white float that bobs on the waves, and splashes where the cast lands, on a bite and while a fish runs.
• Bites & Hooking — The float is pulled under with a splash and a sound. Click in time to hook it. Strike too soon and you scare the fish off.
• Reeling — Hold Space to reel. When the fish runs, the camera shakes and a thin bar shows how tight the line is. Keep reeling and the line snaps, let it run too far and it gets away.
• 14 Kinds Of Fish — Sea and fresh water, in five rarities from common to legendary. Some only bite at night, some love certain bait, some only live at certain spots.
• Every Fish Has A Weight — "You have caught a 8kg Gordo Lingcod!" Heavy fish are rarer, and each fish shows its name and weight in the inventory and weighs that much in your pockets.
• The Catch — The fish comes up out of the water on the line and into your hand, using our own fish models built from GTA's own fish.
• Better Rods — The Pro and Heavy-Duty rods cast further, reel faster and land the big ones: tuna, marlin and sturgeon.
• Levels — Every fish gives experience, more for rare and heavy ones. Levels unlock better rods in the shop and special fishing spots.
• Sell Your Catch — Pick the fish you want to sell, or sell them all. Heavier and rarer pays more, and you can set an event multiplier for double pay weekends.
• Leaderboard — This week's competition, the heaviest fish ever caught, the most fish caught, a record for every kind, and your own fishing stats.
• Weekly Competitions — Daily, weekly or monthly. The heaviest fish, the most weight or the most fish wins, and the top three win money or items, paid even if they are offline.
• Fish Bucket — Holds your catch so your pockets stay free.
• Fish Together — Everyone on the pier sees every rod, line, float and fish, with nothing extra for the server to carry.
• Rods Wear Out — Rods slowly wear with each fish and show a wear bar, so players come back to Bud for a new one.
• Fishing Spots — Make named spots on the water with their own fish, quicker bites, better luck and a level needed. Or let players fish in any water.
• In-Game Creator — Admins place Bud and the fishing spots in game with a NoPixel V style creator, by looking at the ground or the water. No coordinates and no config files.
• Admins Only — Only admins can open the creator, by your framework's admin groups or by permission in server.cfg.
• Job & Licence Options — Let anyone fish, or only certain jobs, and turn on a fishing licence if you want one.
• Interaction Choice — Fantasy Scripts ox_lib prompts, ox_target, qb-target or simple 3D text. Pick one in the config, or let it choose by itself.
• Our Own Sounds — The reel clicking, the drag buzzing, the cast, the splash, the bite and the catch.
• Safe From Cheaters — The server picks every fish, its weight and its price, and checks every cast, hook and catch. Bud only buys fish that were really caught, and only once.
• Never Paid Twice — A double click at the shop or the sell screen can never charge or pay twice.
• Multi-Language Support — Every word on the screens, the prompts and the messages can be translated through the locale file.
• Framework Support — Works with ESX, QBCore and Qbox.
• Highly Configurable — Configure the fish, rods, bait, prices, tax, how soon fish bite, how hard they fight, competition prizes, levels, the fish bucket, Bud's look and greeting, and much more.
